Conservation Kayak offers guided kayak trips that are focused on enjoying and preserving the beauty of nature. We truly believe that teaching about mangrove conservation and ecology enhances both our guests experience and their appreciation for the spectacular habitats that mangroves create.
We are located on Grenada’s south west coast, only a 20 minute drive from Grand Anse. Conservation Kayak is based in The Lightship at Le Phare Bleu Marina in Egmont, close to the picturesque Calivigny Island, and just around the corner from a pristine mangrove habitat; the perfect setting for a kayak tour!
Our top-quality, sit-on-top kayaks are extremely comfortable. We cater for novices and experts alike, have tandem (double) kayaks available upon request, and no previous kayaking experience is necessary. (However, you must be able to swim and be comfortable in and around the sea).
We have a range of trips, all of which include brief but thorough kayaking instruction. Our longer trips also include a delicious organic lunch, ice cold drinks (beer and a non-alcoholic option) and time to relax on a secluded beach.
All of our guests are required to sign a liability waiver (which can be downloaded here), and anyone under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian sign for them.

Our Team
Cancellations and Refunds
We know things happen and plans change so we implement a lenient cancellation policy that is fair to our guests and fair to us:
- If you cancel with more than 24 hours notice before the start time of the trip we will refund the deposit.
- If you cancel with less than 24 hours notice before the start time of trip we will keep the deposit.
- If you are more than 30 minutes late on the day of the trip you will not be able to participate in the trip that day and we will keep the deposit.
- If you are being collected by our taxi driver and you are more than 20 minutes late for the arranged collection time you will not be able to participate in the trip that day and we will keep the deposit.
- We reserve the right to postpone the trip if weather conditions are not suitable; we will inform you with as much notice as possible and offer you an appropriate time to reschedule the trip or a full refund.
